Our Story

Dear Travel Enthusiasts,

The story of The Wynne Group began many years ago in Germany, where Frank and I met while serving in the Army. We bonded over our shared love for travel and the challenges of military life. After marrying, raising our two children—Liam and Ceara—living across the globe, and celebrating countless adventures together, we arrived at where we are today.

A lifelong learner, I’ve always pursued new challenges, degrees, and skills. My journey has taken me through service in both the Army and Air Force, studying to become a Sommelier, mastering foreign languages, earning a black belt in Tae Kwon Do alongside my daughter, and ultimately, earning a doctorate in Organizational Development & Leadership. These diverse experiences all contributed to the creation of The Wynne Group: Holidays with Altitude.

By 2018, Frank and I had both retired from the military and embraced new careers. Our son embarked on a professional rugby career after college, while our daughter pursued a degree in Sustainable Global Tourism. At the time, I was working at the University of Colorado when, during a visit to one of our favorite ski towns, we stepped into the world of hosting. What started as a hobby quickly evolved—thanks to the unwavering support of our Wynne-ing family—into a full-fledged business.

Holidays with Altitude
Our Holiday Getaways span from the high mountain altitudes of 10,000 feet in the Rocky Mountains to the breathtaking Atlantic coastline. We offer stays in the high desert escape of Santa Fe, New Mexico, and along Colorado’s scenic foothills in Denver and Fort Collins. Each stay is uniquely crafted to reflect its surroundings—whether it’s a luxury alpine condo, a romantic hideaway, or a charming European-style retreat—ensuring an experience that seamlessly blends with the local community.
